[Yuber has moved to the forest for now for a change of pace from the desert and has discovered something rather entertaining...the fact that the animals speak like humans do ( Read more... )

[AEFDJWAEIOWAEP. YOU JUST LIKE. PULVERIZED THAT DEER. And guess what species Chopper happens to be half-part of. Have his terrified, speechless stare.]

[And he sees that.] Is there a problem?

Amusement. [Not like he's going to mention he's trying to find ways to satisfy himself and follow the requirements set for him. Of course doing such a thing is always likely to cause some chaos anyhow.]

[Note his appearance in journal, he does look mostly human, but that beastial red eye gives away that he is not.] The thoughts of mere humans do not bother me.

[And yes, he can tell Chopper isn't fully human, but he uses that as a general term for anything that isn't a monster or demon, basically anything that doesn't reside in his actual home world.]

[Chopper will note that eye, and think that he hasn't ever seen anything like it before. He would be fascinated if not for the fact that he's currently trying to keep from screaming, throwing down his journal, and running very far away.]

What's that supposed to mean? You just killed that deer for no good reason! What's the matter with you!?

[At the very least, it is a unique trait that is far easier to describe than sheer craziness and wanton killing. I merely ended the misery of its life.

And the chaos it has brought already is so entertaining.

[It's a shame that Luffy didn't seem to take notice of any particular trait except Yuber's braid; had he mentioned the eyes in his shouting a few days back, Chopper would definitely have recognized Yuber by now.]

Y-you have no right to decide things like that!

[Vash did mention someone with two different colored eyes in his entry, also the braid may have been noticeable in the actual slaughter.]

Do you have any right to say what I do is wrong?

[True. Unfortunately, Chopper is extremely prone to excitement; in retrospect, even if Luffy had noted the eyes, the reindeer is likely to be panicking over the immediate situation far too much to take in any details. Mun's fault.]

...Is this really just a game for you?

[Memories aren't perfect, and the braid was indeed easy enough to miss too, especially considering the situation and what Chopper is. As long as it can be explained ICly, all is good.]

Far from it.

It isn't just a game, that's all.

[No matter how badly Yuber is scaring him, Chopper's just never met someone with such a disregard for life. He'll try to wrap his head around it, but naivety can be a curse in that sense.]

I don't understand...if it's not a game, then what...?
