Patches, our sick little goldfish - the one we saw at WalMart one night with the worst case of fungus and ich I've ever witnessed... the one we bought, brought home, used our second tank, bought medication, fed, loved, cared for...passed away today.
I can't help but second guess myself, he was doing fine up until today - when I changed his water...just like you're supposed to do. Well...when I got home from work about thirty minutes ago, I went to feed all our little fishies...and found him floating on his side, dead.
I'm sorry I failed you Patches. I hope that somehow, you knew how much we cared for you, and that in some little way - we made your time here more comfortable and enjoyable.
