Gavin
Gavin turns three months on thursday, he is so talkative now. making all kinds of sounds and even starting to laugh. he is also able to hold his rattle and seems to like beating himself in the head with it. he is teething so he has been a little cranky and puts everything he can find in his mounth. he has two teeth coming in so i would imagine he is more cranky then he would have been if it was only one. yesterday we went out and got him some teething stuff. more stuff to put in his mouth. monday we are going to start putting him in his room. its about time he starts sleeping through the night but gavin doesnt seem to know that yet. he will soon.
the bad crap.
newton trust is the worst bank ever, if you have money in there you might want to think about changing banks. it seems that someone has hacked them when they merged with lakeland bank. well our account was one of the accounts that got stolen. by time we figured it out there was about 500-1000 missing. because of this they had to freeze our account. you might think that this isnt really their fault but oh it is. they actually told us that have no controls for paying people when a debit comes in they just pay it. thats bullshit and not how a real bank operates. this is the third time...series of times actually, that unauthorized transactions took place. so we had it and pulled gavins account. after this is over and we get the money back into the account they are closing it and we are pulling everything out of that bank... if you can even call it that. The bad thing is that we had to use gavins account to pay our bills. after steve gets paid we are going to start up his savings account again with the same amount if not more. from now one we will have nothing to do with either of those banks ever again. so we went looking for a new bank, and more shit happened all thanks to lakeland. it seems that banks have a thing called chexsystems where they report everything bad that happens to your account that you did, like closing an overdrawn account or a bounced check. it seems that steve was on it because of a bounced check ten years ago. is that rediculous or what? because of that sussex back basically said "oh your on chexsystems you can never have an account with us bye." it was a little nicer then that but that was about what they said.
so we went to PNC, it took over an hour to set up the account, because of the chexsystems thing, which all they did is call them and find out if steve owed anyone money. when it was discovered that steve didnt owe anyone money it was overrided and we got our account. and they were even nice enough to tell us why he was on there. so this week we are going to open gavins savings account then the only other bank shit we have to do is find a bank to get a lock box. where all our important stuff will go. we were going to get a fire safe box but after some thought we didnt see that as a sound choice. since if someone broke in that would be the first thing they would take. and since we want it for birth certificates, car titles and stuff like that, we decided that wasnt even a choice. we just have to figure out what bank we want to do this with because PNC doesnt have any lock boxes. i will be happy when all this shit is over with. but that wont be for a week or two because we have to go back to newton trust and talk to them about some more charges we didnt make.
my mom is bugging us for a christmas list for gavin and us. most of what we are going to get is stuff for the house, like pots and stuff like that because we are both sick of the miss macthed set we have. steve and i are going to have to go to babies r us or something to figure out what we want for gavin because i dont what whats out there.
