-) - Things do get better - (-
A few months ago I turned in an application to Hot Topic
in Midland (about 30 mins from Mt. P). They told me that they weren't
doing any hiring until the holiday season (christmas). So I was like
"ok." Just last week I recieved a call from Hot Topic and they wanted
to know if I was still interested in the job. Of course I said yes. So
they wanted to do an interview on Thursday. Very exciting indeed.
I went to the interview and it went pretty well. The interview itself lasted like 10 or 15 mins. and then we just ended up talking about random stuff like class, concerts, music, etc.. for like 30 mins or so. After the interview was done, I had to drive my ass to Harrison for my photography class....yippy skippy. It wasn't very fun, but that's ok. Photography went well...thats basically it...back to Hot Topic storyness.
Well let's see. She said she would give me a call in about 4 days, from the interview, and let me know about the job. Monday rolls around and im at work (9:30am-6pm). I get on my last break and I see I have 2 new voicemails. So I was like.."well, i bet one is from Bridget...I wonder who the other one is from...o.O." So of course I called to see. Well, I was right about Bridget leaving a message. And what a lovely message it was =) it made my day a lot better. The second message was from Hot Topic...omg, i know =P. She called to see if I was still interested in the Hot Topic job...shit yeah!...and she wanted me to call her back to set up a time where I could come in and fill out some paperwork stuff...which I get to do later today at 130 =)
Im very excited about working there, definatly seems like a place I will love. Hopefully I won't blow all of my extra money there..haha..damn me and my spending ways! *shakes fist at self*
Bridget has class today until like 3 or so...but then she has work...lameness right. Oh well, I will see her tonight...hopefully.
Anyways, I need to do a little painting while im home.
