According to St. Thomas Aquinas, Leviathan is the demon of envy and the demon who is first in punishing the corresponding sinners.

Wherever they go people are drawn to Cristiano, like moths drawn to the flame. No matter if it’s just a shopping spree or some exclusive party. It’s always the same; Cristiano enters the scene and immediately people start to gather around him.
Just like they are now, and Arjen watches Cristiano flirting and chatting animatedly with a group of women surrounding him. There is nothing Arjen can do about it, he just stands there, leaning against the doorframe and watches his lover enjoying all the attention.
Taking a long sip from his drink, he continues to watch Cristiano behaving like the cock of the walk. At the beginning of their relationship, Arjen had often teased Cristiano about his fangirls or how he had to hurry from one photo shooting to another, but it had been in fun and not with any mean spirits.
Lately however it started to annoy Arjen, and this time it had been Cristiano who had teased him about it. Saying to Arjen how he was just jealous that so many women wanted to get into his pants. Cristiano had also told him that there was no need for jealousy, as he would never cheat on him, never.
As if on cue Cristiano looks up and meets his gaze over the crowd of people. He flashes Arjen a brilliant smile and winks, and Arjen returns it with a fake one of his own.
Jealous, no he isn’t jealous. Jealousy implies that he would fear to lose Cristiano to someone and that he doesn’t. He can’t explain why but Arjen just knows that no matter how shallow the character of his lover comes over at times, Cristiano’s heart can’t be captured by a pretty face alone.
So no, it is not jealousy but Arjen knows exactly what the feeling is called that he experiences so often lately. It’s something he had never felt before in his whole life and never thought he would feel towards the one person who had captured his heart such a long time ago.
It hasn’t become a deadly sin, yet. So far Arjen hasn’t acted on it. The punishment of being put into freezing water is not upon his eternal soul, he still can be saved.
But Leviathan is already surrounding him, drawing him in ever closer. And Arjen knows if he doesn’t do something about it soon, it might be too late, not only for him but also for Cristiano.
