Does anyone want to see Stevie Nicks and Don Henley @ Jones Beach June 10th? (Don't make fun of me, I love her.)
I'm thinking of seeing Judas Priest too, not sure yet... even though Herman bashed Rob Halford last night for being ugly.
Also:
Long Island Philharmonic playing Led Zeppelin w/ Randy Jackson (NOT the American Idol host... the Zebra singer who sounds like Robert Plant) @ Brookhaven Amphitheatre August 6th.
That's the really important one, they play every year but I never went to see it because nobody wanted to. Except Jeff and Ari haha and then they bailed.
Ozzfest also is on my to do list. The closest location is in NJ @ the PNC Bank Arts Center... like an hour and half away, everything else is a lot farther, it sucks they're not coming to Jones Beach. The lineup this year isn't as good as it has been (I know I'll get things thrown at me for saying that) but I think the last few years the people playing would have been better to see. Still, it's totally worth it this year, at least for me. I can go for Sabbath, Iron Maiden, BLS, Mudvayne (not my favorite but they're allright), also definitely want to see Rob Zombie. There are also a few spots that they haven't announced who's playing yet (not on the mainstage) so we'll see. I do wish I went last year or the year before though... would have liked to see Atreyu, Cradle of Filth, and definitely Lamb of God... nobody really likes them as much anymore though/ a lot of people think they suck, so I guess that's understandable.
No use wishing I did something a year ago.
Nice how I'm supposed to be looking at classical crap and listening to how I'm supposed to play, but I really just want to see Black Sabbath. And Stevie Nicks too haha I'm a loser. Yeah so Ozzfest and that Zeppelin thing. Talk to me if you want to go to either.
