Privilege in WoW.

I've been having a few long conversations about WoW on the players' forum on a non-gaming social site. I have discovered something: The usual issues of 'privilege' apply in WoW with 'raiders' being the privileged class. Including the posts from the privileged that contain the "Why are you complaining, things are better for you than ever" and "Just do X, Y and Z so you can join us" themes.

I wondered what was going on there, and I suppose I found out. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
