I think today I’ve given Mathematica the toughest workout yet (from my fingers at least,) and let me say... wow, what a totally amazing tool. I had to do a problem involving FOURTH derivatives of a decidedly non-trivial function, and then multiple applications of L’Hospital’s Rule to find limits at a discontinuity... so as many a 9 iterated calculus operations on the same function. It was much help. By hand, it would have taken me a week, but I did the whole thing in under 2 hours.

Now if I can only figure out how to work off the chocolate-covered-espresso-bombs I’ve consumed this eve...
