so i just got back from bennigan's with Becca and Melissa. we had to wait forever, but i wasnt surprised to find it crowded at an irish restaurant/ bar on st. patty's day. i did find it so very sad that they ran out of green beer so very early. i wanted some green beer dammit!!!!! it's like supposed to be a tradition to drink green beer on st. patrick's day. even if youre not irish. so we each started with a stonesour - a drop of jameson, a lot of sour whiskey mix and a lil oj in the tiniest cup ever. it was good but it was like drinking a shot that didnt even taste like you were drinking alcohol. so instead of ordering another, i asked for a green beer. the waitress tells me theyre out. out???? at like 9:30???? i asked for a killian's irish red. she asks me for a backup in case theyre out of that, too. so i say heinken even though thats totally not an irish beer because im running out of options. whatever. just bring me some more alcohol. finally after almost 1/2 an hour, i get my mystery beer. yay it was a killians. i shouldve just stuck with that cuz that was only 4 bucks as opposed to the $7 drop of alki we started with. so then we go to pay the bill - she divided it up as Melissa asked her to, only she put my beer on Becca's bill. Becca said explaining it to her to put it back on mine would probably take all night and by that time we were ready to leave rather than stay and wait another hour for another drink (and at that point i had already downed my beer) so she said not to worry about it. haha. sorry about that but thanks, Becca! =) so yah anyhow despite all the chaos, i had fun and im glad i went. now im home and i need to go do a couple things before i go to sleeeeep. laterz!
