So, I lied. I said I was really really sick Thursday. If I was really really sick then, I'm beyond dead now. SO UNBELIEVABLY SICK. Which leads to this piece of advice-
Just in case anyone was ever tempted to swallow an alka-seltzer tablet.... I can say, with complete certainty, DO NOT. Unless, of course, you want to feel worse than you did in the first place.
Never mind that there is a high chance of it getting caught in your throat on the way down.
Let's just chalk this up to the language barrier and move on, shall we?
Right. In other news... finished writing my history conference paper yesterday. 18 pages, 2 of which are endnotes; needs to be edited before Wednesday. Am currently 5 pages into the second, for Restoration, which sounds like more than it is because I pasted in a complete biography of Ghirlandaio I wrote before spring break. Beyond that, I'm just paraphrasing Cennini and a book on the Sassetti chapel. I hate that class.
People on SLC campus- any word on tenure candidates?
Have to ship at least one box home, probably two. Going to cost approximately one month's paycheck..... stupid easyjet. Never again.
Leave Saturday for the whirlwind tour of Europe. Would be looking forward to it... but I'm not really looking forward to anything right now. Ahgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg.
Lastly, expect to see the whole collection of short stories up here sometime in the future, near or otherwise. *lays down and dies*
