Okay, so after going back to watch the Yuma w/B.I.Shadow Msute perf once more, I've decided that I should be more open-minded about JE & their debuting groups style. So since it's all confirmed now and everything (as in it's an official debut), I should just accept it.
Well, I totally get where JE is coming from, debuting another young group. Yeah, I know I complained about how Mr. Kitagawa is totally going for the "Hey Kids! Let's debut you while you still have those babyfat cheeks on you!" pattern, but I guess he has to capture the heart of the youung fans afterall. Well, once a JE fan, always a JE fan till you get fat and old, so.. OKAY. Yes, in terms of his entrepreneur skills, I'll say he's got more than me.
And to console myself for the fact that he's debuting another group while HeySay's still not in such a stable condition, at least we know that in a certain way, HeySay will be sort of the 'sempai group of the young JE generation' ?
And Yuma.. I admit the only reason why I'm supporting him is cus he's a Kanju and everything but after going back to watch Kanju vids (again), I'll admit he's got stage presence and he's got performance skills too, the whole package. Well, I went to read many comments too about this new group, and many people think he looks creepy (haha! me too, at first glance), but I guess you've got to put away the whole 'first impression' thought to get to know them better if you want to follow this group.
Well, Yoko and so many Kanju like him too, so I guess he's a nice kid afterall. I mean, you've got to be really nice to have Shintaro saying he likes to hang out with you more than his own brother yeah? (Oh tarooo XD too many pranks don't do good to your sibling love, you know?)
And B.I.Shadow. I still feel sorry for them that they have to be debuted in a group which makes them look like the backdancers but I guess, I mean, afterall, I can say without prejudice that Yuma does look like the leader afterall. So I guess it'll take some time before their roles in the group are even'd out. Afterall, they do look confident performing on stage, so given more time, they'll definitely be able to have more impactful stage presence. Technically, almost all JE groups do start out like that afterall, with a couple of the members being pimped more than the others - see Akame, and how you totally only hear Baru/Ryo/Uchi singing back in their early days. But now, they're given more or less equal portions to sing in songs. So although it's unfair, but everything takes time, I guess.. But still, I do hope for a group name change a few years down the road.
And Kaichou-san! I know you absolutely detest B.I.Shadow (or rather, the former B.I.) but I'm sorry but I've decided to support them along with Yuma & their debut afterall! It may take some time for me to like them, but currently I've got nothing against them.. And furthermore, they're like all younger than me, and I absolutely can't find a reason to hate them D: Except maybe the fact that one of them pokes his own cheeks too much (quite annoying) but oh well, they're young and don't know how to act on stage so.. Yes, I'm sorry m( _ _ )m You can kill me if you want to D:
And EBI-CHAN! I know you absolutely hate the face of Yuma but D: He didn't choose to have his punched-in-creepy-looking face! (LOL, it sounds funny when I hear myself say that) And I think he's a nice kid, and he's probably gonna end up being the laidback-hey-let's-go-fishing useless leader like how all the other JEband leaders are, so you don't have to worry :) Please don't hate him, my Kanju-love hurts for him D: I mean, afterall, he's still a kid so..
So all in all, on this day, 8th June, I've officially declared myself to be a supporter (not yet fan, sorry) of Yuma w/B.I.Shadow and yes, I'm going to buy their CD (hides from stones thrown by Tracy). But to really fangirl them, I'll wait till year end.
ALTHOUGH..
1. I really hope with all my heart that HeySay will still get major pimpin' from the Jimusho.
2. I really hope with all my heart that they'll do justice to B.I. members and change the group name.
3. I really hope Johnny becomes more creative next time and comes up with better names, I mean, NYC Boys !?!
AND LASTLY,
I HOPE MY POOR KANJU&QUESTION? WILL STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO DEBUT.
I'll be really sad to see the older Kanju backdance for this new group, although I've said I'll support them.
PS: That said, personal tag for them added :)
But yes, that loooong group name still irritates the hell out of me when typing.
