I gave it to him. Showed him the inscription, told him the significance behind it. Everything. And he told me he loved me. How that warms but breaks my heart. He loves me and I love him. But I belong to Lucius. A mistake on Severus's part. His haste in getting power. Something I could effortlessly have given him. I have him for now though. And he has me. And I think he realizes what he gave up. If only there was some way to turn back time with the knowledge I now possess, life would be that much simpler.
