I waited in line for 2 hours at Best Buy to buy a friggin power backup. It was on sale for 20 bucks. I feel like a sellout. I mean I actually went out on "black friday" and joined in the madness. At least when the power goes out in my shitty apartment my machines won't just stop anymore, and they can be shutdown cleanly. But honestly the whole experience was bonkers. People line up outside like the friggin night before to be the first to get their grubby hands on a drastically reduced priced DVD player. I notice they never put the friggin HD Plasma TVs on sale. I also noticed that the line reminded me of that classic game nibbles. They also strategically placed items all over the store so that you were more likely to make a compulsion buy while in line. Either that or its standard procedure to place electric razors in the refrigerator section.
I cant seem to sleep. I have a paper to write and that is pissing me off. I don't think computer science graduate students should have to write papers in their classes. I mean a conference paper is cool but this is friggin stupid. I also am not making the best of my sleeplessness by working on this paper, and when my roomates get in tomorrow it will be even harder to get shit done. But whatever I know I will get it done by the deadline one way or another. School is school I have been going to it my whole life it seems now. Its like all I know is school. Hopefully I will learn something else cause this school shit is going to end soon and I'll be left holding my diplomas looking clueless. Kinda like a really uptight white atheist in a black bapist church. I won't know how to clap on beat or anything. I suppose that was the wrong analogy someone is bound to get offended.
On that note here is a list of black folks who are destroying america !!!
