England, Part 1- Bath
I had a fantastic time in England, I took over 750 pictures!. I won't bore you with them all, just the highlights here. The first half of my trip was the city of Bath, I was able to stay with sadievale, her mom, Betty and williamsburg24.
The first day I went to the Roman Baths to drink the water, and wandered around town till I had to meet the girls for dinner.
I was a bit late getting up there, and had to change in record time to make the reservation. We met up with mlsdesigns, her mum and some friends for dinner at Sally Lunns, the oldest house in Bath.
And after, we were invited back to her flat for cake, tea and a game of Pope Joan. I had a blast, but it had been a long day, and I got tired quickly.
The next day was spent shopping and having tea at the Jane Austen Center. We decided not to dress up since we would go walking around so much.
On the advice of mlsdesigns, we went to a jewelry store in the guild hall market that had the best things, including tiaras! The owner said that all the gypsies shop there!
We all got new tiaras to wear to tea!
That night we dressed up to go see "Sense and Sensibility, the musical!", williamsburg24even got to play a part, Miss Sophia Grey
Thursday I went out on my own for a bit. I took a tour out to Stonehenge
Then came back for dance class. I didn't dance a much as I would have liked to, but I felt like my legs were going to fall off.
Friday we went around town again, shopping and seeing the sites. We went to the Assembly rooms and fashion museum, and up to the Royal Crescent. We made an early day of it, so we would have time to rest before the ball!
