It's quite awesome to see the boys becoming a legitimate thorn in Dick Roman's side. He initially put the kill order out on them just as a precautionary measure, but now...
I'm very curious about this mysterious box. Roman has put a lot of time, effort and resources into locating it for himself, so what's it all about?
I think every human probably has a spark somewhere in them. We are seven billion unique experiments. Dick just isn't interested in 99.9999% of the things that make people unique. (We never find out what's special about most of the people we interact with, and we're not old-fashioned eating machines.)
Yup, I agree that Dick's never been interested in discovering that percentage of spark that can't be duplicated in people for the most part. His only interest is in what serves his own agenda. Charlie caught his attention and interest because he saw a useful quality in her that he couldn't duplicate. Otherwise she never would have come onto his radar.
I always love your analysis. Always very thought provoking. And yes, Dean and Sam may have been cloned, but they are very unique and NOBODY can copy their essence or truly understand what makes them tick. They have a bond, a quality that no casual observer will ever be able to copy or capture. No matter what is thrown at them they continue to get up and fight, because that is who they are, that is their essence. And that is why we love them so much. Their indomitable spirits.
Remember what Charlie said at the end, "the really evil ones always need a special sword." l wonder if that is a clue being planted and maybe that is what the red clay will lead the boys to. Sam seemed to take notice when Charlie said that, so I wonder. Till next week.
Thank you very much. I am very curious about that red clay. Dick has been funding many archeological digs, now we have red clay on the table -- this speaks to me of something very old, ancient, buried in the veil of time but... not lost. The question is... what kind of clue will it provide? Eeeek!
