“Sebastian~”
“Young master...don't you think it's a bit late?” called said butler, standing in the doorway of Ciel's large room. “Shouldn't you be asleep by now?” The boy was in his bed, sitting straight up, finger gesturing towards Sebastian to 'come here'. He had no choice but to oblige, coming to stand by the nightstand and awaiting his master's orders.
“Cake,” Ciel said simply.
“It's late, please go to bed,” pleaded Sebastian.
“I order you to bring me a slice of cake,” Ciel said again. “Are you going to disobey me? I'm only hungry.” Sebastian would not win this battle. He never won with Ciel; he could win any other. It was frustrating, at the very least.
“...Understood,” he replied with a sigh, rushing off and back with a (quite small) slice of cake, a plate, and a spoon. “Will you go to bed, then?” He offered out to the cake, Ciel taking it with a smile on his face-a rarity-savouring it with tiny bites.
“I might,” Ciel answered when he finished, setting the plate on the table. Sebastian made a move to pick it up and carry it off, but he stuck out a hand to motion for him to wait. “You can take it later. Would you sleep with me tonight?” The second half of the bed had already been left open, waiting for someone to lay there; he had planned this.
Sebastian grinned, all too willing to obey this command. “I will stay with you for as long as you want.”
“No,” muttered Ciel, “would you sleep with me?”
His expression turned blank, then shifted, another smile with somewhat of a wry look on his face. Ciel didn't seem to pay much attention, this kind of thing was normal for Sebastian; he wondered momentarily if Sebastian would reject it, since he hadn't ordered him properly. But usually, he would have declined very soon after being asked, and he'd made no motion to do so.
“Your wish,” he began, in a sneaky, almost slinking type of motion, sitting on the bed with a leg between Ciel's, a hand on the wall above his head and another's fingertips moving to gently grab Ciel's chin, “is my command, young master.” Ciel shivered a tiny bit, from Sebastian's sudden ice cold touch, closing his eye and then allowing himself to relax. It was my order.
“You shouldn't eat before bed anymore, you reek of cake,” muttered the butler, getting dangerously close to the boy's face.
“Cake has a bad smell to you?”
Sebastian chuckled, closing the space between them immediately after whispering, “I like yours better.”
