I am a sexy sexy beast. RAWR~!

Another fulfilling adventure experienced :D PAX was the first videogame expo I ever attended and I was surprised on how organized everything was. Lots of well-displayed booths as well as easy-to-read maps and well-labeled aisles. Staff and security personnel were very helpful too.

Met a lot of wonderful people, including old friends and new ones that I recently got acquainted. I stayed at Mala's apartment along with her roommate Lise, which I haven't seen in months. I miss their company a lot, and I'm probably at my wildest whenever I'm with them, which horrifies and disgusts them to an extent lol.

I pre-reg extra passes for Mala. JP, old con-goer friend of mine, bought the other one I had.

Finally after 4 years I met o_8 again along with his friend Mark and kawaiiaya, accompanied by her bf Topher and friend Evan. Also met rakugaking for a brief period of time and found the elusive reyyy hanging out at the Udon booth guarded by zubkavich and crew with a hard-working Joe Ng pumping out Street Fighter art for fans.

As for the expo I played Left 4 Dead with o_8 and the gang, rocked out at Rock Band 2 on stage, fiddled around with other booths and tried on eyewear by Gunnar Optiks. Come to think of it I didn't really do much except look at the new games coming out and took photos. I got the swag I requested from Alex/o_8 and I gave him a DVD compilation of old cartoons for SkullgirlS references. Aside from that I also bought the Street Fighter Tribute book and manage to attain 5 artist signatures on it so far (Joe Ng, Alex Ahad, Jorby Alano, Jim Zubkavich, Corey Lewis).

Speaking of SkullgirlS, Alex and I discussed a lot of about the development of the game, along with future endeavors planned for both the evolving game and the team. We were on the same wavelength concerning about the speed of the game's development, and wished we devoted all our time to making SkullgirlS. Unfortunately our day jobs are our only source of income and we have to prioritize the logically practical. I'm always concerned about the team. Its all volunteer work at the moment and I'm very amazed at their passion and devotion. The experience is a reward itself but I want them to be properly rewarded for their efforts someday once we complete the game.

After exhibitor hours Mala, Alex, Mark and I stopped by GameStop and purchased a point card and extra controllers for the eagerly anticipated Castle Crashers. We chillax'd at Mala's apartment playing CC along with Rock Band and ate delectable home-cooked, hand-prepared curry courtesy of Mala. The following night after exhibitor hours I stayed at Alex's hotel and exchanged SG sketches with him and played more Castle Crashers at Mala's place.

Sunday went by pretty slow and I arrived at the con pretty late to say my farewells to Alex and the gang since they were leaving that day. I headed over to Vashon island with Mala afterwards to meet her parents and dined in on her mom's asian cooking once again. Aside from that, I rode shotgun on Mala's scooter around Seattle, cleaned Mala and Lise's apartment and fridge, and had a couple of unique experiences inherited :D

Hope you enjoyed the pics, now for a shower and some shuteye. I'll post some swag on a separate entry once I get some proper sleep.
