So uhm, I found the scanner cord. :D Much glee!
Massive art spam behind the shiny cut. Six original images, and two QAF fanarts.
First, the fanarts. I've kind of been on a massive Queer as Folk kick lately. I missed season 5 when it was shown over here in Oz, so I recently watched it on youtube. I also downloaded random episodes from S1 and S2. So like, shiny fanarts! Yay.
Both are of Brian--the first is done in charcoal, and uh. Not happy with it, as I'm a perfectionist, and I don't think it looks like him enough.
But still, I am proud of it because it's the first time I've ever got a proper handle on charcoal. I did decent detail with big fat, crumbly sticks! So uh, yay me? XD
Next is a sketch of Brian, it's a WIP and I don't think I'll ever finish it. Because...once again, I don't think it looks like him enough. Angst.
Now, this next piece was meant to be Drew Boyd from Queer as Folk. But uh, so is not him. Doesn't look like him at all, so thus I dub it random dude! With shirt off! ;)
Last realism-ish sketch-- a random naked man. With a slightly too big head. And er, I really should have bothered to detail the blanket, as his thigh looks all tiny and...retarded. Urgh. ;.; But still, more charcoal fun. Mwha.
Now, the next two pictures were done just after I moved house. They're done on the computer, as that was the first thing I unpacked. (Heh, priorities) They are both WIPs, and I'm not sure if I'll ever get back to them. I'm so fickle.
A naked woman, drawn completely on Painter Classic. Which I haven't used in ages and it shows. My god, CG-ing...it hurts my brain. XD
And, a green fae girl. I really love her, but I think I'll eventually finish this with watercolours on the original sketch. Tree details are much easier for me to do with real mediums...
This one I'm really happy with, even though it's a couple of months old. I just, the purple! And the ears! Pretty angsty fae boy! My favourite thing to draw. *grins*
Last image is a picture of one of my original characters. I redesigned and inked him. He's so emo looking, it amuses me!
I have a couple more bits and pieces of art lying around, but I'll post them another day. It's getting late (4:30am..), and I'm getting lazy.
