Versace to design Inter’s suits

I know nobody reads this comm any more, but I needed to share my stupefaction with the official announcement.

Evidently the club feels we need to compensate for our loss of Leo by stepping up the fashion, so Versace have been given the gig and we now know more than we ever needed to about what the ragazzi will be wearing.

The suit is in super 130s wool with a two-button, sewn jacket in ink-black and a cornflower blue pinstripe - just like the Inter colours. The shirt is poplin stretch with a button-down collar and concealed buttoning, with black internal detail contrasting with a cornflour blue background and a Derby shoe in black calf-skin with contrasting cornflour blue laces.

Right. That’s useful. The model, as you can see, appears to be “Frog in a high wind”. Good luck squeezing Pupi’s thighs into those trousers; they’ll probably split when he looks at them.

(My favourite part: the belt has “a Medusa design”. I know that’s Versace’s official logo, but I prefer to think they put it in to please Casta.)
