[He leans against the bars, gaze on some point in middle distance.]

Far away, my body is lashed to the mast of Jagreen Lern's flagship, as that evil sorcerer moves to conquer all the Young Kingdoms and bend them to his masters of Chaos. I could have died there, but instead I shall return and summon Stormbringer to me, so that I may escape and raise up an army to fight the rising tide of Chaos. And I know it shall cost me my life, but there is no other choice.

Aye, but for me, that choice is no choice at all. Remain here while the world descends into pure Chaos, all form and reason lost? And you say that I shall return at the moment of my departure, but every day that I remain here makes the decision to return all the harder. Nay, I would do it now and have done with it all instead.
