If you have a hat, our objective is clear; we must find and capture those who have been designated "Robbers."

Under whose jurisdiction was this order given?

Our leader is currently unknown. I awoke with a similar hat and a note detailing our mission.

Considering the illogical placement of the clothing article and lack of an official announcement, I find the legitimacy of this mission highly unlikely.

You would refuse direct orders? Even if we don't know the origin, what other purpose do we have to serve at the moment but this?

I most certainly would not exercise insubordination in the event I was delivered an order from a superior. The lack of origin leaves a lack of credibility. At any rate, impersonation of an officer is [he feels like he should say 'illegal', but that's not technically correct] immoral.

Infiltration has always been a useful tactic for determining an unknown origin, has it not?

No more immoral than letter criminals walk freely on the streets. I doubt the titles are literal, though.

Are you suggesting accepting the order for the sake of uncovering an underlying motive?

While I agree, detainment of an alleged criminal from an unauthorized individual still constitutes vigilantism. If you have reason to suspect the titles are not literal, what reasoning do you have that these assignments are any more legitimate than the previous unexplainable happenings?

It would be foolish to suggest something so blatantly over a public network.

I see nothing wrong with that. We've been entrusted with a task that we should complete, regardless of whose authority it was under. I have no knowledge of any previous events similar to this, so I cannot make that comparison.

No more than a distinct implication.

In that case, if you wish to familiarize yourself with Edensphere's erratic nature, I would not be unwilling to share my documentation of the occurrences since my own arrival. I would recommend taking the time to do so anyway, if not for the present circumstances then to at least have some semblance of preparation for the future.

A good thing I was doing neither.

If this is what I should be expecting, I don't want to be unprepared. I'd appreciate it if you'd share your documentation with me, though at this point I don't have much, if anything, to offer in return. Depending on how thorough it is, I wouldn't be adverse to returning the favor in the future.

What is your name?

Compensation is unnecessary. My records are kept on the data reco- computer, so producing copies is no trouble.

I am Crow. And your name is?
