I've been living on the crumbs of your love, and I'm starving now.
And that is just the way that we remain.
I watch them from the window. He straddles the bench, a leg on either side, as she sits in front of him leaning forward with her elbows on the table, playing with something between her fingers while she speaks to him.
He tilts his head as he looks at her, listening, intently watching the way her lips move. And I wonder how something so simple can break my heart.
His hair is tucked behind his ears, pulled back in a small pony tail. His beard has a few days growth, I watch his jaw as he throws his head back in a laugh.
The sun creates a golden aura as it falls behind him. I capture this moment, closing my eyes to freeze him in time.
And I wish, as hard as I've ever wished for anything, that I knew better than to love this unattainable glorious man.
Two falling sparks. One willing fool.
