It probably hasn't been particularly good for his mental state, either, still unsure what sort of reaction he should be having toward seeing a girl who definitely looked to be Rue.
But he's continued to be as all alone as he could be, even after the pictures started to change, implying potential allies in his for-all-intents-and-purposes family. After all, surely everyone here wanted the same thing, which was to get out of here?
