First, I want to say WELCOME to all the new friends I added to my flist via the friending meme over at
dean_sam. I love memes like that. :)
Some weeks ago, the first season of Ugly Betty premiered here on tv. I watched the first couple of episodes, and loved it. I really couldn't wait for only two episodes each week, so I started coughdownloadingcough the rest and in the past few weeks, I've watched a few episodes each night and now I'm totally caught up with all the pre-strike episodes.
OMG, I love it! I was reluctant to start watching it at first, because we have a similar show on our Dutch tv with the same concept of Ugly Betty. And I've never seen a full episode of that show and I wasn't really interested in it, so I didn't know if I ever wanted to watch the original US show. But then I saw the first episodes and I fell completely in love with it. It's just brilliant. Nothing is ever as it seems and no one is who he/she says he/she is.
I mean seriously, the Alexis storyline? Who saw that one coming? And Wilhemina? LOVE (to hate) her. She always comes up with an even more absurd plan than the last one. :)
And yeah, I'm a Betty/Daniel shipper. I swear, if they hug one more time or if Daniel says "I need you, Betty" once more to her, I'm going to scream. Aaaaarrggghhhh, the tension! I mean, Henry is cute and all, but Betty/Daniel seems to be my OTP!
Glad that the show is coming back soon, I think it's even on the same day as Supernatural, yay!
And Bones is also coming back TOMORROW! The last episode was mid-december so it's really been WAY too long and I need my David Boreanaz fix!
