A Review

Right. Radiohead played last night and we went to bed at half 1pm...

Mile End Station is NOT equipped/build/made to accommodate 30,000+ people so one can imagine (maybe) that "Packd like Sardines..." would've been an accurate choice of song that night. But they didn't play it and I'll spare everyone the Setlist which we've probably all seen by now (or heard).

*yawn*

I liked it. I've seen them 4 times before..all in 2003 and I loved them but last night I just couldn't connect with anything... The closer we got to the Arena the more excited I got but because we were "far" away, because there were people who didn't seem to be aware they were at a concert and not just a night out at the pub (ARGH!!!!!!) I just failed to be amazed by the whole thing.

Anywho...I tried to ignore all the swaying, dancing, beer throwing (
) and chatting.

Someone in a review on last.fm said that the show was lacking something. I agree.
Maybe it was my fault for checking the other setlists every day and not being suprised by last night's (apart from CutW and Just).
Or maybe it was really just being quite far away from the stage (1st or 2nd row is just so much better
)...

My favourite Thom quote of the evening: "...time's running out...the pumpkin leaves at 10.30pm..." Ohh gotta love him...

Good Night

Edit: Oops... Bats For Lashes btw were fantastic. We missed the first 1 or 2 song(s), and we were miles away and they had a power cut but her voice is amazing and her songs are great. Go and buy!
