point-form update:
-it is my birthday! I am 25. I feel the same. I will spend today cleaning, baking, and then later drinking wine while listening to records with friends who will HOPEFULLY all be wearing ridiculous Christmas sweaters.
-I am going to PORTLAND next weekend with Mom and Alice. so excited. I think this warrants a new road trip mix.
-I am done Christmas shopping for everyone except Jimm (and I pretty much know what I will get him). Some of the gifts are even wrapped already! I also bought a 30" tree and some lights for it. As I get older I love Christmas more and more. The only things I will continue to hate are angry shoppers and Christmas music.
-listening to all my friends who are in school freak out about how much work they have to do before the semester ends makes me feel REALLY glad that I'm not in school anymore. I feel their pain, and I sometimes still wake up in the morning going 'oh fuck did I finish my math homework?' and then I'm like wait a second.
-I got rid of my paid account for the first time since 2003 or so. I will miss having a basically unlimited amount of userpics, but I don't really post enough for it to be worth it. And I had to pay for my flickr which is more important anyways. I just have been devoting a lot more energy to my blog, so a lot of the day-to-day stuff goes in there.
-ok I think I am going to get dressed and buy groceries now even though I think there was more stuff I wanted to say.
