Jeff texts: I just woke up from a dream about plate tectonics. Thought you'd like to know.

I came across
this lovely post in the Buzzer Blog via
vancouver is awesome. It's the recollections of Angus McIntyre, who has been driving trolley buses in Vancouver for 40 years (I see him sometimes when I take the 7). A fairly long but enjoyable and interesting read; I recommend it. I also recommend watching the short 1965 CBC documentary they link to in the article, viewable
here. It's basically worth it just to ogle the old cars and ladies' hairdos.

I am pretty excited for this movie. Also, could the music in this trailer possibly be more perfect?
But I am even more excited for
this- The Lovely Bones movie adaptation. Unlike
OTHER movie adaptations of books I love, this actually looks amazing.
I have only a week of work left until Jeff and I go to New York. We are staying at a Hilton in Newark, because it is like a billion times cheaper and they have a free shuttle into Manhattan so who cares. It is not possible to put into words how excited I am. I am even excited for the 5 hour plane ride, though this could be because I haven't been on one since 2005 and I've forgotten how uncomfortable they are.
Speaking of forgetting, I can't remember what else I wanted to talk about. I am going to go make food happen now.
