quarter-life crisis
So yesterday I got some letter from the government being like 'blah blah blah a little bird told us you failed a class >:( you better smarten up or we will stop lending you money and in fact, come to your house and sodomize you.' So yeah, that was pretty disheartening. Especially since it seems very possible that I will not pass everything this semester. I was lying in bed last night thinking about what I would do with myself if I were unable to go further in geology (and, subsequently, in school altogether) and every time I think about it, my eyes well up. I do my homework, I go to lectures, I study my notes, I ace my labs - what more can I do? And if I'm not meant to do this, what am I supposed to do?
