Today is not as sunny and beautiful as yesterday, but still, it is not raining and it is not cold so perhaps I will go on a little adventure by myself before meeting MaryAnne for a quick catch-up on her break from work at the hospital.
Yesterday I got my mark from my chem midterm. I failed. It was a very difficult test with a brutal marking scheme and apparently the average was 48%, so that makes me feel slightly better about my own grade. I am now anxiously awaiting my math midterm grade. I keep doing well on assignments and failing tests; what am I doing wrong? I only have so many chances to not suck at this before I'm another university dropout working retail for the rest of my life.
I felt slightly better last night after getting stoned and going to see Inkheart with Lucas, which, despite terrible reviews, was not that bad. Sure, some of the dialogue was kinda mrrr and the ending was a little cheesy, but mostly that can be chalked up to the fact that not all things in print translate well into film. I would watch it again. Afterwards we went to Boston Pizza for wings (which I had been craving for like 2 days for some reason) and talking.
Also I saw a preview for the new Harry Potter, and even though I've already obviously watched it online, I squealed a little bit.
I have been spending a lot more time in Out on Campus than in the past couple semesters (mostly because of that terrible guy who made everyone uncomfortable) and it's great. There are new faces and old faces and everyone is friendly to each other. We talk about serious things and funny things and inappropriate things and it's always a struggle to get up and actually go to class from there.
"Don't we have any clean spoons? Or a coffee measure? Should I just... use the ladle?"
"That's what I did this morning!"
