I caught Jeff's cold and called in sick to work today. Then we slept until 1pm, he made me breakfast, and then we went back to bed for non-sleeping purposes. I feel much better now that I am rested, fed, and can breathe out of my nose.
So Obama got elected. I spent election night drinking bourbon with Jeff and Jesse and Michelle in front of the tv, and also watching Jesse get happily drunk and hug himself when one of the talking heads used the comparison of open-source software to Microsoft as an analogy for Obama vs. Bush.
In more local news, our douchewad landlord evicted us. He says it's because he wants to move in, but considering the basement suite is now empty, I think that's bull and he just is tired of dealing with us and would rather have stupid tenants who will pay more in rent. Anyway, at least now I don't have to worry about getting rid of anything I don't want. I can just leave it behind for him to deal with :D Everyone will be moving for January first - Tams and Maine to one place, Steph and Lucas to another, and I in with Jeff of course. I vote we have a ridiculous NYE party and not clean up anything.
