why am I so bad at school?

I got full marks on my last physics assignment. Unfortunately, my glee over this was ruined when I discovered that today was the due date for a project proposal I didn't know about. Apparently the project guidelines were handed out last Friday, when I stayed home from class with a vicious headache. Prof seemed pretty disappointed when I told him I didn't have it. ):

Now I have two days to figure out what the balls I'm going to do for my final project, and then write about it.
