So... exactly how gay is it that Dennis and I counted to three over msn so we could listen to the new National album at the same time?
In other news, I have been going clean-crazy the past few days. So far I have cleaned my room, cleaned the kitchen, got rid of fourish months' worth of empties, tidied the living room, cleaned the bathroom, and most importantly, cleaned up the back porch. All the crap save for an old exercise machine (too heavy to carry) and some garbage bags full of old newsprint and wallpaper (no place to put them) is GONE. Man, I can't wait to start using our porch for its intended purpose!
I found out that I am not failing geology. At least, not yet. I have 72%, but that's before the lab test and final that make up 45% of my final grade. :/
I bought an awesome book yesterday; it's called Cinderella's Big Score: Women of the Punk and Indie Underground, by Maria Raha. It's managed to hold my interest for like sixty pages already, which is more than I can say for almost any other non-fiction book I've read.
I had other stuff to say I think but I forget.
Reminder to all in the Vancouver area: our fancy party is on Saturday! See here for details. If any of you came to the pirate party, I am expecting this to be similar to, if not surpassing, its epic-ness.
Tomorrow I need to:
-purchase large quantities of wine and whiskey
-start my essay, or at least find a few background theory pieces to use
-vacuum
-do laundry
-make a party playlist
-resize photos for group presentation (CRAP this means I need find/install powerpoint to view the friggin thing)
p.s. Hockey is amazing. Six Feet Under is amazing. Cupcakes are amazing.
