A lot of pointless junk.

This morning I awoke from a totally weird dream. I started writing about it in detail but parts of it are forgotten, and with a bunch of missing points in its timeline it's just not that interesting. But it involved a bedroom-like cell with wooden dowels for bars, me spontaneously losing and regaining my pants, a crowded beach, and an abandoned monorail.

Katt surprised me with a visit last night along with her boyfriend Chris (who had just had his septum pierced) and her friend Sarah, whom I'd met before. They couldn't stay very long, but friends showing up unexpectedly is always good when you're a lonely loser like me.

I've been reviewing experiences on BME with pretty much all my spare time, so imagine my surprise when my queue of 50+ was halved overnight without my knowledge, and dwindled to three while I was reviewing two experiences. I was all, "Now what will I do all day?" Also, I submitted one of my own if you want to read it. It's not really very good; I wrote it out of boredom in about 20 minutes. But after seeing so many horribly formatted, badly spelled, shoddily written essays, half of which began with "i wanted a piercing that not everyone else had...", I felt good about throwing in something written with the knowledge of proper sentence formation.

Since I have the full first seasons of both Clone High and The L-Word which I got from bit torrents, I will probably use my time to watch some of that tonight. The latter is taking up an assload of space I could be filling with music, so I plan on watching and then deleting it, but the former... oh man, I'd forgotten the amount of love I have for that show. So hilarious. Also, Patrick's bugging me to try out Lumines on his new PSP, so I might give that a go, as well. And I have some comics I've been meaning to catch up on.

In concert news, I missed Against Me! on Tuesday, which I guess is okay since I really didn't have the money anyway. Still sucks, though - I was looking forward to seeing both them and Jeff, whom I was going to go with. But upcoming are the following:

TICKETS: $15.00

Thursday, 5/5/05 8:00PM @ Sokol Auditorium

Wednesday, 5/11/05 8:00PM @ The Mid-America Center
BRIGHT EYES / THE FAINT

TICKETS: $18.00 (Even more ridiculous than Tegan & Sara opening for The Killers. I doubt I'll go, especially given the popularity of both bands in this town - it'd be impossible to get tickets.)

Thursday, 5/12/05 8:00PM @ Sokol Auditorium
RILO KILEY
TICKETS: $12.00

I'm going to miss cheap concerts. I love Vancouver, but I do not love Ticketmaster raping consumers in the ass.
