PAT BUTTRAM!

I somehow managed to pack all (read: most of) my crap into my two suitcases and a ridiculous Labatt bag I plan to take as a carryon. Though I did have to break out the 'sit on the suitcase so it'll close' move for one of them. Ugh. I hate packing. I still have stuff I'll have to cram places since I need to like, shower and junk before Tuesday.

My weekend was spent shopping with Pia, Tracy, and Lucie - it was nice to see her since I haven't in almost two years - hanging out at Iain's, and going to the pub with Dad and Sharon. I spent my last ninety-ish dollars buying that movie for my sisters, a pair of cargo pants that were on sale, a sports bra (running without holding my boobs = yay), lotion to put on my tattoo (SO ITCHY), and cds (The Pixies - Surfer Rosa and Hawksley Workman - For Him and the Girls). Last night I went with Dad and Sharon to a nice pub in New West; it's called The Brooklyn and it's just up from Columbia skytrain station and right on the water. Good to know for when I'll be living around that area.

Tomorrow I'm going to the high school to say hi to Mr. Moore and Cyndy and such, then to the doctor, then home to vacuum and watch Napoleon Dynamite with my sisters. Kind of anti-climactic, but eh. I'm going to miss my family - probably even more than before since I've been kind of re-acquainted with all of them and the awesome things about them over the past 5-6 weeks. But I miss Patrick a lot. I need so badly to see him... I'll be happy if this is the last time we'll have to be apart like this. I've said it before: I wish so much that I could just merge everything I like about Omaha with everything I like about the Lower Mainland.

Anyone who's responded to the survey that I haven't replied to yet, I'll get to it when I get back. I don't have the energy just now.

family, nostalgia
