Stuff is finally coming together.
I haven't written in months, but there really wasn't much to say. Mainly, I've spent the last six months unemployed on the brink of destruction so I figured it wasn't really worth recording a bunch of whiny drizzle. No one want to listen to that.
However, things are definitely looking up. I'm moving to Egypt in August for two years. I applied and was accepted to a dual degree program at the American University in Cairo that will produce a MA in International Human Rights Law and a Graduate Diploma in Forced Migration and Refugee Studies. I'm so excited to go back to Egypt, and even more excited about the program! I think it was written for me. However, I did just find out two weeks ago, which is leaving me 2 months to prepare for a 2 year move to Africa. Needless to say, I'm in a perpetual panic attack until I get everything sorted, or at least finances.
There will be much, much more to come later, but I need to shower and do some stuff.
