This fall has been passing by unbelievably quickly. Winter is creeping up and I'm really not sure I'm ready for it. Its beautiful for part of it. But I hate the constant darkness, the monotony of school, or the way that I never seem to get warm for months at a time, regardless of how many layers I have on.
Enough of that. The last couple weeks have been great fun. Fall break Emily came up, and Emily, Sarah, Mel-T, Annie and I all went to the Death Cab concert. They were better live than I thought they'd be. They closed the encore with my two favorite songs, back to back, which was pleasing. Afterward, we spent some time at the vous before having an impromptu party at my house instead of attending the scheduled joint house party. The following day, Annie, Emily, and I went up to State to party with Jakki and Mel for her birthday. I've never been up there before, but I had a ton of fun. My friend of summer camp even came, which was awesome because I hadn't seen him in nearly four years. IT was really sweet of them for inviting me up. Also, I'm glad that Mel and I are cool now. We've always had mutual friends, but I always thought she really hated me in high school. Hopefully she doesn't, because I think she's hilarious. My transmission blew as we attempted to merge on to the freeway on the way home. That was pretty sweet considering I just bought my car in May. Its alright though, its taken care of now, I just picked it up on Sunday, and so far its driving great.
The following weekend was the Owen progressive party. I had sarah and megan there. It was a good time. I was doing really well too, until the absinthe room on the third floor. That room seemed to be the demise for most of the party. I didn't get sick though, which apparently happened to quite a few people. It was definitely a fun night though, although quite absurd.
I came down with a fever last weekend, which forced me to cancel on the apple picking trip with my house. It was a bummer, because I had been looking forward to it for a couple of weeks. But, I figured it probably wasn't a good idea to spend most of the night outside when I had a fever of 101. In the end, it worked out though, because I actually had a really good time with the others who stayed behind. It was mostly Nick, Casey, Brianne, and I being really silly. It was great though. The night ended quite scandalously, however I wasn't really involved in the drama. I really love brianne. Its cool to know that there is another one of me in the house, even if no one else knows it. Its great fun.
On a different note, I think I'm going to give up on him. A hug? I can take the hint. Back to the drawing board I guess...
I've been corresponding with nikki some lately. That makes me unbelieveably happy. Maybe there is hope for us.
Well, I think thats pretty much it. I should really go to class now.
