Spoiler 6x21/ 6x22
I while ago I was so curious that I couldn't resist reading a spoiler. :3 Well, it said much, but not what will happen exactly. "One will die, one will transform" or something like that.
I guess the angel story will end in Season 6, 'cause the 7th Season will be more like Season 1 and 2, right? They can't drag this whole civil war into another Season so it wouldn't make any sense if there would be still angels hanging around. Due to that it means that Castiel wouldn't fit to the storyline anymore, too. But what if the "transformation" refers to Castiel?
Just imagine he would lose all his power/grace during his fight with Raphael. Do you remember when Sam fought Lilith? His eyes turned black, he was a demon with... a lot of power, but while defeating Lilith he lost all his special mojo. So what if this would happen to Cas, too? He defeats Raphael but in return he loses all his power. He falls involuntary. And because he already claimed a body, he doesn't need to be reborn like Anna and stays in Jimmy's body instead. As a human he would perfectly fit into the storyline. He could become a hunter just like the Winchsters and from time to time he could hunt with them, just like Bobby does.
I mean, that can't kick Misha out of the show. He has been an important character since Seasin 4 and... personally I can't imagine Supernatural without him anymore. :/
