i solemnly swear that i am up to no good
Just got back from my orientation at Loyola and it was fairly awesome. Too much happened in the past two days for me to summarize, but it involved me being woken up by four guys I had never seen at 2 in the morning as they tried to carry me out of my bed, me eating macaroni and cheese for the second time, and lots and lots of free shit.
But, okay. I was re-examining the cover of Deathly Hallows and got to thinking.
This is the full cover, with the little wraparound things on the edges. And is it just me, or do those curtains on the edges look distinctly like a veil?? Am I totally getting my hopes up or could this be the other side of The Veil? As in, the one that Sirius "Love Of My Life" Black is behind, supposedly dead?
See, cause once I thought of this, all I could think of was the interview where JKR said Dumbledore was "definitely dead." There was never a case -- in, what, four years? -- where she said anything like that about Padfoot.
I'm totally getting my hopes up. But, seriously? It looks like a fucking veil. And it's not all blue like the Department of Mysteries is, which makes it seem like the other side. Which would clearly be yellowyorange. So Sirius is coming back. Right? Right.
I'm not a completely dweeb, I swear. :X
I feel the need to mention Henry, who is leaving merry old England for Spain and it's old news by now but I've been incredibly depressed about it. What a scumbag. :( I'm going to go devote my full attention to the Mets now, because it is 3-3 in the 10th and that is exciting!
