I Miss Steve!!!
I was at home when I saw on the MSN homepage that Steve Irwin had died, and it still hasn't sunk in. I loved his show, it used to be one of the only things I'd watch. It's the only thing Animal Planet had going for it. For the longest time, I wanted to be Steve Irwin when I grew up, if I wasn't going to be my Dad. He was amazing, and he wasn't afraid of anything, and he really loved all of the animals. He never blamed them, or got angry at them, because he understood them, and I wanted to be just like that when I grew up.
I haven't watched the show in awhile...but I can remember the way he talked, and how animated he was about everything! He was an amazing guy, and the world is a darker place without him in it, fighting for animals. Now that he's gone, who's going to fight for them?
It saddens me to no end....
