Brief Tassie Trip Synopsis
Day 1: Hiked to wineglass bay.
Went penguin-spotting at night. Saw three.
Day 2: Visited wildlife park.
Saw Devils and Wombats.
Molested by Kangaroos.
Day 3: Hiked through Tarkine wilderness.
Peered over "edge of the world".
Ate really good burger.
Day 4: Hiked up "the Nut"
Foiled an attempted ambush from bandycoo(t?)s.
Slid down Dismal Swamp(actual name) slide.
Saw something that could have been a platypus.
Day 5: Went on Cradle Mountain hike.
Saw Wombat with baby.
Frightened possums with late night shower.
Froze ass off.
Day 6: Walked across dodgey bridge to see waterfall.
Got lost exploring sand dunes but was able to follow own tracks back.
Day 7: Lots of driving.
More waterfalls.
Casualties: iPod charger MIA
Camera screen not functioning properly-causes unknown.
Further actions: Leaving for Sydney tomorrow. Trying to avoid Easter craziness: Outlook dim.
