Long Weekend, HO!
Labor Day, Woo!
Tonight I'm having some friends from the Co-op days over to watch HD DVD movies and drink some beer. My neighbor is apparently bringing over some of her friends as well, so we'll get to meet some new people.
Saturday morning, my parents are flying in to stay the weekend. My dad hasn't seen my new apartment yet, and since it is a long weekend, they decided to fly up. I'm going to take them on the water taxi (which I still haven't checked out) downtown to hang out. Not really sure what all we'll do this weekend, haven't thought about a plan.
Things are starting to settle down up here, as far as upfront moving expenses, activation fees, etc are concerned. It's starting to feel more like home by the day. I'm enjoying my job, and I've started getting into the meat of things, rather than just training and reading.
So I guess the overall report is good. I'm definitely enjoying the hell out of my new TV, that's for sure.
