(no subject)
My office is divided off by cubicles, which I don't mind. It's like your own private area, which I like. I think I'd hate an open area with just a bunch of desks.
On the other hand, it makes it hard to meet people around the office. I would feel weird about just wandering over into someone's place and being like "Hey, what's going on?"
For instance, I hear a couple of guys a few rows over from me talking about awesome stuff like Xbox games, TV shows, etc. pretty much everyday, but I'd feel weird walking over and being like, "Hey, I heard what you were talking about... I sit over there..."
I dunno. Maybe that's just me.
There's a hang out / party thing this Friday at the office, with BBQ and beer, so I'm sure I'll meet some people then. The whole wandering around cubicles scenario just seems like a terrible way to meet people to me.
