No. Just no. I love my Sam. I love my Dean. I did not love this episode. Max, in particular, was a low point. I like the idea that the monster thing is after the Winchester family and not psychic people or whatever.
I came up with a fanfic idea that I don't think I'd be ale to write even if I wasn't so anti-fanfic at the moment so I'm going to toss it out here. It's set several months before Jessica dies and Dean has Sam's visions. After using them to help people for a while it starts to have extremely negative effects on Dean both mentally and physically so they look for a way to get rid of them. John finds some spell and they perform it blah blah blah and then at the end Sam has his very first vision because the thing had to go somewhere. The idea is there and I like it but the more I think about it the more I realize that I just wouldn't be able to write it. I write Sam fic, not Dean.
