1. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
2. I think I'm developing an anti-holiday disposition as I spent large chunks of the day wishing I could curl up in a ball and cry. My mother's father is in the hospital, so we're not celebrating Christmas with him and my grandmother until he's home and feeling better. It's currently greatly unknown as to when that will be. But I'm barely over my grandmother dying, and now this is all going on. It's just really depressing.
3. Bad news: I didn't receive Serenity on DVD today.
Good news: I'm 90% certain that I'll be receiving it from my grandparents.
Bad news: That could be light years away.
4. So who bought me six more months of paid account time? (And if you'd like to remain anonymous just comment anonymously and tell me so.) Now that I'll have a paid account for much longer, who wants to help me a) set up a mood theme or two, b) put up more component boxes (not that I know what to do with them, I just want more boxes), and c) possibly add a banner to the top of my layout (although I'm afraid that it'll be like
jade422's layout on which I can only see her banner in the other browser).
5. I love my sister. She got a me a recording of Sylvia Plath reading her poetry. It makes me very very happy. (Of course, I had to promise my family that I won't make them listen to the cassette when they're in my car.)
6. My parents bought me a 19" color television for my room. Now I won't have to wait for the TV downstairs all the time.
7. Other loot includes Everwood season 1 on DVD, Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams by Sylvia Plath (its cover is utterly awesome), the Serenity soundtrack, Orlando: a Biography by Virginia Woolf, a hair dryer (so I don't have to use my mother's and sister's), and the visual companion for the Narnia movie (Georgie Henley interviewed James McAvoy and it is so adorable!).
8. I have provided my aunt with the necessary information to obtain a copy of Good Omens and read it. (She wouldn't take my copy since she saw how obsessive I was about the Terry Pratchett autograph.) She has read both Pratchett and Gaiman before, a fact that I only just discovered last night.
9. My room has become tremendously messy over the last few weeks. My goal for the next month of no school is to find my floor.
10. My sister and I received Fruits Basket volume 12 today, but she gets to read it first because she was the one to open it.
11. I'm rather addicted to numbers and parentheses tonight, aren't I?
12. I'm tired and I have a headache. G'night.
