[public] death post

Aug 23, 2006 23:36

Still on hiatus but I'm leaving for Florida tomorrow night and I just wanted to say goodbye in the event that I never come back. So farewell to you all; I send my love forever and I wish I'd gotten to know most of you better. I'll post to say I'm alive on Friday the 1st but if you don't hear from me I'm hoping that violetsocks would bemoan my death on her ( Read more... )

You aren't going to die, you silly thing. I love you, and I miss you already! I hope you find someone to talk about footie with while you're away. (Try Mickey? Or Goofy.) I imagine that there will be a lot of spam coming your way, so. You simply can't die without reading all of it, duh.

What am I going to do for 7 days?! *ANGSTS*

Make sure you have fun. Or else.

Your flight hasn't even left yet, and I'm already commenting again. This does not bode well for the future.

Chelsea played Middlesbrough last night; the score ended up 2-1 to Boro. The lone goal came from Mr. Sheva himself. :) Well-deserved win for Boro, though; poor defense from the boys. Woe.

Champions League draw was today. The important groups:

Group A
Barcelona
Chelsea
Werder Bremen
Levski Sofia

Group B
Internazionale
Bayern Munich
Sporting Lisbon
Spartak Moscow

Group C
Liverpool
PSV Eindhoven
Bordeaux
Galatarsaray

Match dates were also announced. Here's Chelsea's. I'll let you know when I hear Liverpool's.

Rafa appears to be quite upset about the length of the WC. Poor thing, I'm sure playing in all those matches was absolutely awful for him. ;) (I totally disagree with his view on the subject. Though I can see what he means on some levels, it's the World Cup we're talking about. Country > club, imho.)

Knowing you, you've probably already read this in the newspaper or something, but. *G* Liverpool played against West Ham yesterday and won 2-1, with goals off Agger and Crouch. I suffered through the last half just for you (I am so self-sacrificing, really!), and the new Dutch signing Kuyt made his first appearance. He made several attempts on goal-- even something like two in the 60 seconds he'd been on the pitch. Yeah, pretty impressed over here.

ARE YOU HOME YET? *WHINES*

I'm not going back far, am I?

I actually did get to read about this on the trip. We didn't get a newspaper at the hotel which only added to the "I am living in a far-too surreal alternate reality" feeling that most of the trip had. (I never really said anything to you about the trip, did I? I bet there's a comment asking about it that I'll get to eventually.) But on one of the later days, I think it was Tuesday, we were at one of EPCOT's things and it had a computer with very limited internet access. The only websites that could be visited were owned by Disney, and since Disney owns ESPN I could visit soccernet.com. You should have seen the smile on my face as I looked through scores and stories from the previous days. It just made my day.

I'm home now.

Not at all! I remember typing that comment like it was yesterday. (Actually, I really do remember it, which is kind of strange. I can't even recall what I ate for dinner on Thursday night.)

In case there's not a comment asking about it somewhere (although I'm sure there must be one): tell me about your trip! I think you actually mentioned writing an entry about it at some point, didn't you? Perhaps I'm crazy.

The only websites that could be visited were owned by Disney, and since Disney owns ESPN I could visit soccernet.com.
Disney owns the freaking world! Okay, not true-- Disney owns half. Wal-Mart and McDonald's share the other half.

You're home now, really?! I had no idea... How was your trip? (That's makes time #2 that I've asked about it in this comment. I am good at covering all my bases.)

I will now try to tell you about my trip in a short explanation because a) I don't feel like straining to remember too much and b) I can't remember what b was ( ... )

Dopey came along and slapped hands with my sister and my brother but completely ignored me.That has to be the funniest thing I have ever read. I am giggling in a really weird way and it is completely unattractive and I hope this is not how I laugh when I'm trying not to. (Because I try not to laugh a lot during various classes and if this is what it sounds like, I really need to remove my voice box or something because. WOW ( ... )

Do not laugh at my Dopey snub! It was a very traumatic experience for me. Seriously. (I did, however, spend time laughing at your laughing because I did ( ... )

*faints* This is very belated, which is sort of only partially my fault. I prefer to blame other people and/or school.

Chelsea played the Blackburn Rovers on Sunday, with Petr (!!!) and Balla back from injuries. The final score line was 2-0 to Chelsea, with one goal off Lamps and the other off Drogba.

Euro 2008 stuff: Balla nd Metze were set to return for the next couple of qualifiers for the Mannschaft, but Metze is out as he will undergo surgery on Thursday.

You might be happy to learn that I survived my first day of classes. See? I do have some sort of strength!

Okay, so I clearly fail at spamming. I blame school and a total lack of attention span.

BUT UM, HI! YOU'RE COMING HOME TOMORROW! :D :D :D I can't wait to talk to you! <33333333
