It's been a while since I posted, and I have good reason for it. I had two midterms and one regular test on Thursday and spent a lot of my time preparing for them (although it didn't exactly pay off) and any free time I had was spent reading the Lemony Snicket books. I am currently waiting for my sister to finish The Grim Grotto and give it to me but in the meantime I will be reading Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography. There are certain things (and people) in the books that I would enjoy squealing about here but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone *cough* Melissa *cough* who is going to read them all. I have already let
violetsocks know about my new obsession but she will refrain from making any comments that could be conceived as spoilers. Actually, Melissa, you probably shouldn't look at my info page until after having read the books. It sort of contains spoilers.
And now a pointless list.
My Top 5 Favorite TV Characters (at the moment)
1. Wesley Wyndham-Pryce (Alexis Denisof) on "Angel"
I adore this man. I adored him from the first moment I saw him in my first ep, "Disharmony." The minute he opened his mouth and I heard the accent... And then he only got better and better. Fred is one lucky woman. Actually, so is Alyson Hannigan.
2. Willow Rosenberg (Alyson Hannigan) on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"
I don't remember my first reaction to Willow. I don't really remember any of my thoughts about her when I first started watching. Admittedly, she is a "geek," which I always love for some reason. (Okay, not for some reason. It's the fact that she's intelligent.) I just remember trying to come up with my favorite character on the show and knowing without a doubt that it was WIllow. I didn't even hate he in season 7. I just blamed that on the writers screwing up immensely.
3. Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring) on "Veronica Mars"
When I first read about the show I thought that Logan's character was too extraneous. I didn't see how the main character's ex-boyfriend's best friend could play a big part in the show. Then I was a few eps into the season and I suddenly adored him. He might have been somewhat of a jerk after that but he suddenly became the highlight of every episode. Now I drive my sister up a wall by asking constantly "Where's Logan?" and "Why hasn't Logan been in this ep much?"
4. Paris Gellar (Liza Weil) on "Gilmore Girls"
I don't care that she has no people skills, is a snob, and is extremely self-centered. I want to be Paris Gellar. She's intelligent, she's driven, and when she wants something, well, God forbid anyone should be in her way. Plus, she's currently dating (or whatever term she decides to use) an ex-BtVS person. How can you beat that?
5. tie: Sayid (Naveen Andrews) on "LOST"
and: Charlie Pace (Dominic Monaghan) on "LOST"
I can't pick just one of them. I adore them both. I squeal both of their names when they're on screen, and I miss them when they're gone. What more do you want from favorite characters?
