In the beginning they were cordial and businesslike with one another because that’s all there was and she was Mrs. Logan while he was Special Agent Pierce.
When they found themselves laughing together more often she asked to be called Martha but he disappointed her by insisting they maintain their current distant relationship without crossing any lines.
There was a random day on which she was mad and he used her first name in an attempt to calm her down but she just angrily declared that she was Mrs. Logan and that it would do him good to remember that.
She called him Aaron for the first time and he had to turn away to hide the small smile on his face as he let himself call her Martha for only the second time.
When they’re sitting in bed together and he’s kissing her it doesn’t matter what they call each other because they are now only one person and names aren’t important.
