So, the Fall Out Boy concert is on Saturday, and I'm super excited. Sadly, what I was planning on wearing, I'm now not so sure on. I was going to wear a skirt and singlet, because between the forecast temps being hot, and the heat of the mosh, it’s just far safer than pants in regards to fainting and heatstroke. But I read online that many concert goers hate the girls wearing skirts in the pit. Now don't get me wrong, I know it’s going to move and flip, and isn't the most modest thing out there. But I'll have swimmers on underneath, it’s not like I mind if it moves. So I'm stuck, do I wear the skirt to keep cool, but look kind of silly and be hated by those people, or wear pants, and risk overheating? Three quarter pants are a possibility, but mine aren't that good, and would likely slip off my hips. So I'm probably going to spend all afternoon with my sister working out what we are going to wear.

I'm going to the bank tomorrow to get out the money for merch. I'm not sure if I'll buy anything yet, but it’s always safer to have cash on you. I'm also working on packing my bag etc (we're staying overnight since we're out of town). We're also listening to the music of the support acts (all american rejects and hey monday); I'm one of those people that usually only like music if I know it and have heard it before, so we're working on that. Looking at all the above, there’s actually a lot to do. It might seem silly, but since we have to leave at 9 to get to the venue at 12, we can't do anything the morning of, so we like to be super prepared.

Mostly, I'm just excited. After this weekend there are only two bands (MCR and matchbox 20) that I would kill to see. Yes there are stacks I'd love to see (the cab, simple plan, nickelback, pink, green day etc), and many I’d love to see again (TAI and Cobra for a start), but those are the few 'kill to see' left.

I'll hopefully update after the concert (I like having something to remember it by), but I tend to be vague and completely 'OMG', so I'm not expecting poetry.

fall out boy, concert
