Last time I worked, there was a loose rat huddled in the corner under the aquariums. My coworkers said that they had tried to catch it and they couldn't so they just left it. I caught it without too much of a problem. I didn't want it to die in the garage, it was just a young one. I was very happy to have saved it...
until today when I had to sell it as a feeder rat because it was the only one left. And the girl who bought it was all like "Eww, I hate rats. I don't even touch them when I feed them to my snake. I just throw them in." I wanted so badly to say to her, "You stupid bitch, you don't deserve this rat. It's not for sale."
I can't believe the cute little guy is going to be snake food. I kinda wish I would have just left him to live in the garage. Maybe he would have been better off. I want to cry.
