im a one eyed pirate.. aaaarrrghhh me hearties!
Well yes, i currently have the use of one eye. the other eye..luckily my bad one, decided to swell yesterday to the size of a small country. it almost shut itself. i had to leave from my last day on the wonderful mega yacht the Pelorus a few hours early because my pirates eye was so painful and swollen. All the boys at work had running eyes, just from looking at mine!
So today i went to the eye quack, thinking i had something in it, and he gave me some wonderful drops and cream, and told me i had an infection from a cold. its starting to go down now, which is good cause it looked liked someone had been beating me for a while there.
So what did i do last weekend.
Thurs, was supposed to work, but there was a mix up and the club didnt open that night, so i went out on the town to all my usual haunts and got pretty messed up. crashed at jerrys.
Fri, got home at 5 in the arvo, had an hours sleep, then went to work. came staight home.
Sat, got 2 hours sleep, went to work on the Pelorus, very tired, finished work, had a couple of beers with the crew, went home went to work, got drunk at work,Going into Sunday Morning..... then went to thomas reads, then the fish markets, wow what a morning. we played cricket with oranges. Just remember here, cricket is not a sport which germans know, so we had quite a crowd gather by the end of it! then we headed up to the london pub. then the anchor bar * by this time its about 1pm* where i spoke with my highly fluent ..haha .. german to the barmaid, who we all ended up calling ma. that was the highlight of my day, i got to speak in my broken german for about 3 hours, because no one in the bar spoke english,so i was translating for the kiwi boys.
then We headed up to the DOM. the dom is a fair that comes 3 times a year (imaging sideshow alley, but 10 times bigger and pbetter and prettier, with lots of booze) i beat all the boys on the horse racing, and then i went on MY FIRST ROLLER COASTER!! i HATE roller coasters, but this one was good , cause i was a pirates one with lots of water! the we won a water gun and squirted the whole of St Pauli suburb with it, includung a she man who attacked us with his-her handbag. then i went home at about 5 and slept for 13 hours. a good weekend eh?
so from thurs to sunday i had about 4 hours sleep, not a record, but close. well i was prety proud of myself even if none of you are!
im off the grog, until the next invasion of swiss visitors come to my house. that gives me 2 weeks to sober up. sarah write in your lj, your not getting away that easy with it!
